"Mirror, Mirror," written 1998/1999

I fought.
I scratched.
I bit.
I hit.
But they still got me.
They threw me in the car
and carried me away.
They cast me away into a dark room
and left me there to rot.
I would have too
if I hadn't
crept out the air vent.
I changed my looks
I changed my life.
I changed me.
So now, I'm no longer myself
I'm you.
